From Overdrive to Alignment: What Happened Between 2022 and Now

If you’ve been following my site for a while, you might notice something unusual — a quiet pause. A long one.

The last post here was June 2022… and then the page went silent.

But trust me — I didn’t.

The truth is, the last few years have been among the most intense, transformative, and recalibrating of my life. It wasn’t a pause. It was a period of deep focus. A season of inward attention. A full-system realignment.

And now, I’m ready to share what’s been unfolding behind the scenes.

2022 → 2023: When the Volume Got Too High

Let’s start here: work consumed me. Not metaphorically — literally.

The demands increased, the pace never slowed, and I went from sixty to well over one hundred miles per hour for months at a time. And the truth is, I loved the work. I loved the teams. I loved being in the thick of meaningful impact.

But the cost was real.

My bandwidth narrowed. My energy reserves dropped. My creative capacity faded. I was giving far more than I was replenishing.

(This is why the blog went quiet.)

What I couldn’t see at the time — but can now — was that something important was forming beneath the surface. Even in the overwhelm, growth was happening. Awareness was increasing. A shift was beginning.

2023 → 2025: The Certification Season — Awareness Deepens

Somewhere in the middle of long corporate days and longer nights, I made a quiet but powerful decision:

If I’m going to keep giving, I need to deepen who I am.

So I committed fully to my own development — both internally and professionally:

  • 2023 | Emotional Intelligence Certification (Daniel Goleman)
  • 2024 | Energy Leadership Index — Master Practitioner (iPEC)
  • 2025 | Certified Professional Coach (CPC Credential | iPEC)
  • 2025 | Emergenetics Associate Certification (Emergenetics International)
  • 2025 | Associate Certified Coach (ACC Credential | ICF)

These weren’t just credentials. They were mirrors. They were frameworks for awareness. They challenged how I thought, how I responded, and how I showed up — especially under pressure.

Every certification expanded my perspective. Every practice session increased my self-awareness. I wasn’t just gaining tools — I was learning how alignment actually works, from the inside out.

I was preparing for a transition I hadn’t named yet.

2024 → 2025: The Call Toward Alignment

By mid-2024, something became impossible to ignore.

This isn’t it. There’s more.

I felt it while leading teams. I felt it during coaching conversations. I felt it most clearly in the rare moments of stillness.

This wasn’t simply burnout. It was discernment. A deeper truth asking to be honored.

In 2025, I made a decision that reshaped everything:

I chose to leave corporate life and create my own coaching practice.

Not out of frustration.
Not out of exhaustion.
But out of alignment.

I had spent years doing meaningful work with people I respect deeply. And then it was time — to trust myself, to listen fully, and to step into work that reflected who I had become.

On July 1, 2025, I began the next chapter:

reMARKable Coaching.
A reMARKable Odyssey.
A more intentional way of living.

2025 → 2026: Living the ReMARKable Odyssey

With my lease ending in late 2025, I chose something both bold and grounded: a year-long odyssey, primarily across Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.

Not as an escape — but as an experiment in living with greater presence and intention.

This journey is as much internal as it is external. It’s about alignment. Awareness. Choosing deliberately how I live, work, and create.

As I step forward as the founder of reMARKable Coaching, everything I’ve learned — about energy, emotional mastery, leadership, and presence — comes with me.

And the blog?

It’s waking up again.

Because this chapter isn’t just happening. It’s being lived — and it’s worth sharing.

What’s Next

In the months ahead, you’ll see:

  • Expanded content on the 7-Level EMS (Emotionally Mindful Scale)TM
  • Reflections and insights from the reMARKable Odyssey
  • Writing on Energy Leadership and conscious choice
  • Coaching tools, frameworks, and practices
  • Stories from the road—and from real life
  • The continued evolution of reMARKable Coaching

This isn’t a comeback.

It’s a continuation —
from a wiser, more aware, more aligned version of me.

If you’re here reading this, thank you.
You’re part of a story still unfolding.

A life well lived is built on awareness and alignment.

Welcome to the next chapter.
